Enrolling in the Course

What to expect after purchasing the course:

1) Enroll your student

You’ll see a link to the student enrollment form on your purchase confirmation page and in your confirmation email.

In this form, you’ll enter your student’s name, email address (required), and phone number (optional).

2) Your student gets their activation link

After you complete their enrollment, we’ll email your student a course activation link. If you provide a phone number, we’ll text the link as well.

3) Your student starts the course

They’ll use the activation link to set a password and begin the course.

4) You'll get updates

If your student hasn’t started after a couple of days, we’ll notify you. You’ll also hear from us when they start the course and when they complete it.

Let’s troubleshoot this ...

  • Did you complete the student’s enrollment? That’s where you provide your student’s name, email (required), and phone (optional). The enrollment link is on your purchase confirmation page and in your confirmation email. If you can’t find it, contact us, and we’ll resend it.

  • Check your student’s spam/junk folder. Sometimes the activation email lands there.

  • Did you use their school email address? Some school email systems block outside emails. If so, contact us and we can update their email address.

  • None of the above? Contact us. We can send you the activation link and get your student set up.

That’s expected. The course appears in your student’s account, not the purchaser’s. Once you enroll your student using the enrollment form, the course will show up in their account.

If you want to view the course or your student’s progress, sign in to PedalAce using your student’s email address and password.

  • Did your student activate the course? They need to click the activation link we sent by email (and text, if you provided a phone number).

  • Are they signed in with the correct email? Make sure your student is using the same email address you entered on the enrollment form.

  • Was the course activated more than 60 days ago? Courses are available for 60 days after activation. If your student needs more time, contact us, and we can help.

Taking the Course

Absolutely! Students can take PedalAce on a smartphone. On phones, we recommend using full-screen mode for videos.

That said, most students prefer a larger screen (laptop or desktop) since it’s easier to see the videos and the notes below them.

Within a chapter, students can watch the videos in any order. However, they must watch every video in that chapter all the way through before moving on to the next chapter.

Each chapter ends with a quiz, and students must pass it to move on. If they don’t pass, it means they missed some important safety info.

Students should go back, rewatch the videos, and review the notes located below the videos before trying the quiz again.

Quizzes are open-book. Students can leave the quiz at any time, go back to the lessons to find the answers, and then return to the quiz.

All quiz questions are covered in the lesson notes below each video, so if they don’t want to rewatch the videos, they can review the notes instead.

No. Students must pass each chapter quiz before moving on. The quizzes ensure they’ve learned the key safety information in each chapter.

Certificates of Completion

Yes! After passing the final exam, students receive a Certificate of Completion that they can download, print, or share.

The Certificate of Completion is in your student's PedalAce account. To find it:

  1. Sign in at PedalAce.com using your student’s email and password.
  2. Click the student’s name (top right on desktop, or under the hamburger menu on mobile).
  3. Select My Account -> Certificates -> View

From there, you can view the Certificate, copy the link to share it, or download it as a PDF.
